Mary has spent over 20 years working in the field of education and in the intergovernmental sector specializing in program management, training and development, and donor relations. 

Mary has supported the management of programs and provided career guidance for international young professionals at UNICEF and other UN agencies.  She also developed training programs for UNICEF’s first cohort of Youth Advocates and managed donor-funded grants.  Previously, Mary was a founding teacher at The Ethical Community Charter School in Jersey City, New Jersey where she led several initiatives on curriculum development, staff development and the cultivation of strong community partnerships. She also served as Faculty Representative on the Board of Trustees.

Mary holds a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Educational Leadership.  She is a member of the National Career Development Association and is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP).
