Kaihua Ding
Dr. Kaihua Ding is an adjunct faculty member at both The George Washington University and the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches courses on predictive analytics and data mining. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Ding serves as Director of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at AstraZeneca’s AZ Brain group. He is also an AI panelist for the National Science Foundation’s SBIR/STTR program.
Dr. Ding has held senior leadership roles in machine learning at three Fortune 500 companies, bringing deep industry expertise to his academic and advisory positions. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
His research and professional interests include explainable machine learning algorithms, high-performance computing (HPC), generative AI methods, natural language processing (NLP), AI-driven omnichannel orchestration, and error estimation.
