Masters in Public Policy/Certificate in Data Science

The Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration works in conjunction with the Data Science Program to offer a combined Masters in Public Policy and Graduate Certificate in Data Science degree. The combined program allows students to complete the master’s degree on an accelerated timeline by double-counting six credits toward both degrees.

Course Requirements

Students in the combined program must complete four data science courses, four public policy courses and six additional upper-level statistics elective courses. All requirements for both the

Applied Economics and the Graduate Certificate in Data Science must be fulfilled.
