Abdi Awl

Dr. Abdi Awl is a Professorial Lecturer in the GW Data Science Program.  Dr. Awl earned his Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.) in Engineering Management from George Washington University focusing on Lean Six Sigma process improvement.  Dr. Awl earned his B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Telecommunications from George Mason University. 

Dr. Awl has over two decades of professional IT experience, focusing on database development and administration, data science, AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, Big Data, NoSQL, business intelligence, IT Consulting among many others.
