Undergraduate
Undergraduate students in GW’s Data Science Program learn foundational knowledge and skills to confront the most complex problems facing the world today. Data science is a rapidly growing field, and can be a pathway to careers in fields such as business, engineering, natural sciences, social sciences, humanities and health care.
The Data Science Program offers a bachelor's degree, minor and combined BS/MS degree, all drawing on the Columbian College Departments of Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Geography and Political Science. The three undergraduate data science degrees give students cutting-edge tools for analyzing “Big Data” and give them insight into the changing ways we live, work and communicate.
