Sarah Burnett

Sarah Cassie Burnett is an Assistant Professor in the GW Data Science program. Her research integrates applied mathematics, scientific computing, and data science to understand complex physical systems, with a particular focus on fluid dynamics and particle-laden flows. She is also actively involved in K–12 STEM outreach and undergraduate mentoring, with a focus on increasing access and representation in the mathematical sciences.
